The Big Hoose Project was established in December 2021 to support children and families experiencing poverty with essential household items across Fife.

We are looking for a motivated, highly committed and customer-obsessed Warehouse Manager.

Our Warehouse Manager will be a people leader in a fast paced, dynamic and customer obsessed environment. They will able to engage, direct and support a small team of warehouse operatives whose role it is to safely and efficiently receive, sort, check and pack all orders for collection.

The candidate should be customer obsessed!!

We are looking for candidates with experience in leading people in a warehouse environment with experience in both inbound and outbound operations.

You will:

  • Independently identify operational problems and step in to resolve them before they become customer impacting.
  • Bring a department perspective to decision making
  • Leverage your people leader experience to guide the team through excellent communication, decision making, coaching and personal development planning.
  • Interrogate processes and identify pain points to improve the customer journey and operational efficiency.

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in customer facing roles across operations / supply chain / logistics / e-commerce or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills to extract and assess data and trends using both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques (intermediate Excel - VLOOKUP/INDEX/MATCH, text functions, pivot tables, customize graphs)
  • Comfortable with a multi-tasking, high-energy environment. Creative and analytical problem solver with a passion to provide excellent customer service.
  • Flexible to adapt to support the needs of our organisation

Please note that successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK.

This post will be subject to a Disclosure Scotland check and 2 references.

You will be expected to work 37.5 hours per week, but also have the flexibility to work hours in addition to this where required.
