CEA Ltd is an inclusive service supporting survivors of domestic abuse and operates an Integrated 3 Stage Trauma Recovery Model. We have recently received funding from Falkirk Health & Social Care Partnership. This is an exciting opportunity to join our psychology team. The primary focus of this post is psychological therapy provision as part of the Stage II Team. We aim to support young people, women, and men in enhancing their knowledge and increasing their understanding of domestic abuse, to support them in emotionally regulating and processing difficult experiences through therapy. Evidence-based therapies are provided by our Stage II Team including CBT, PCT and EMDR.
Our ethos as an organisation is person-centered and the psychological therapies team adapts their approach to fit each client’s needs.
We would welcome applications from individuals who share our passion and commitment, our values and desire to continually improve and develop the service we provide to the benefit of service users. The post holder will provide specialist evidence-based psychological therapy to service users presenting with a range of mental health difficulties, will work well autonomously and as part of a team, will have experience conducting assessments and will be aware of professional guidelines. Often presentations are complex due to the nature of our service. As such, prior experience working with complex presentations, is essential.
