Do you want to positively impact the lives of young people in Scotland? We are looking for a motivated individual to support our 13 – 25 year olds and their families with the challenges they face through the healthcare and education systems as well as in everyday life.

SBH Scotland’s aim is always to empower individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus to be as independent as possible and your role will be important in making that happen.

From creating resources and organising events through to attending transition clinics and providing practical and emotional support, you’ll be part of a team supporting young people transition smoothly into adulthood.

You will be educated to SVQ3/4 level or equivalent level of relevant knowledge/experience and have experience of working with young people and their families and carers.

Having your own car and a full driving licence is also essential as travelling to young people’s homes, schools and appointments will be required as well as travel to SBH Scotland’s support centre in the central belt. In return we offer an attractive employee package including hybrid working and flexible hours.

SBH Scotland is an equal opportunities employer.

If you’re enthusiastic, empathic and want to make a difference in people’s lives we’d love to hear from you.
