  • Edinburgh office based or homebased
  • Closing 29th November 2022

  • Advertised from 4th November 2022
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent.

Christian Aid has a focus on identifying, and seeking to address, the root causes of poverty. This role will take a lead on Christian Aid’s campaigning in Scotland. You’ll work with colleagues in the Scotland team, and across the organisation, to bring about positive change by developing effective and timely public campaigns aimed at Scotland-based decision makers. Alongside churches, coalition partners and our amazing supporters, you’ll be at the heart of campaigning in Scotland for a more just world.

First and foremost, you’ll have a passion for the issues on which Christian Aid works – such as Climate Justice, Gender Justice and Economic Justice. You’ll have experience of, and insight into, harnessing public campaigns to put pressure on decision-makers. You’ll have knowledge of the political context in which Christian Aid Scotland operates, and a flair for engaging people both in person and digitally. And you’ll be confident and comfortable in working with others of all backgrounds – in churches, coalitions and across the organisation – to build strong partnerships to bring about positive change.
