Deaf Action is a deaf-led charity, supporting and celebrating deaf people. We were established in 1835 and work with deaf people across Scotland and the South of England. About you

Are you friendly, forward thinking, proactive, and organised? If so, could this be the role for you? We are expanding our in-house interpreting team within our Communication and Interpreting Agency and are looking for an additional Bookings Administrator. The person we are looking for will have experience in offering a high level of customer service.

The role

Supporting the Deputy CEO with admin tasks and working closely with your counterpart in Scotland, you will ensure that a robust bookings service is provided for our Communication & Interpreting Agency.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Communicating with customers and interpreters looking for interpreters

• Managing the interpreters’ diaries to fulfil customers’ needs

• Raising invoices

• Maintaining our customer database
