All GAMH employees benefit from excellent terms and conditions including pay which matches at least the Scottish Living Wage for every role. Our Learning and Development Programme guarantees that staff have continuous training opportunities to ensure that they have all the skills they need for the job, as well as meeting the requirements for SSSC registration.

The appointed applicant will support candidates undertaking the award, mark submissions, provide feedback, attend related meetings and complete associated administration records as required by our SQA Approved Learning Centre.

The Learning and Development Officer is also responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the mental health strand of training, commissioned by Glasgow City HSCP, for carers in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant qualification at SCQF level 7 or above and be able to travel throughout Greater Glasgow and beyond as required.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the values and attitude required to work with people who are living with mental health problems and who may have complex needs.

GAMH aims to promote equality of opportunity in service delivery as well as in employment practice. To achieve this, we positively welcome applications from all sections of the community.
