About the role
As a Delivery Coordinator for Education and Young People, you will be responsible for promoting active travel in Scotland among young people and communities. You will manage a team that will develop and deliver a range of initiatives across Scotland ensuring effective delivery of the project.
You will work closely with the Head of Programmes, Behaviour Change team, volunteers, partnerships and report to the Education and Young People and Communities Manager.
You will be responsible for managing and developing the coach team members by setting clear objectives and monitoring performance to maximise their potential.
You will be leading on the planning, programming and delivery of the Education and Young People’s Programme according to the organisational strategies and procedures.
You will be partnering with local authorities to develop and deliver the active travel projects across Scotland.
Due to the nature of the role, a full PVG is required.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans. You should be based within the Scotland with occasional travel expected to a nominated hub/office base in Edinburgh.
About you
You should have experience of leading, motivating and managing a team. You will build relationships easily and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, across a range of organisations.
You should have experience of working with behaviour change projects and be able to lead group workshops and plan events.
You will be a skilled communicator, able to effectively engage with different audiences and influence their decisions making.
