Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual for the role of Trusts and Foundations Officer. As part of the Fundraising team, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage an established portfolio of trusts and foundation funders; identify, develop, and realise new trust funding opportunities.
  • Deliver specific fundraising campaigns and applications to meet agreed targets.
  • Contribute to and support the planning and implementation of fundraising activities.
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate fundraising activities.
  • Maintain accurate donor details and contact reports on the database.
  • Develop donor stewardship to deliver a high level of customer care.
  • Research new and current prospects to enhance donor portfolio.

What will you bring?

  • Experience of working in a fundraising or similar role, with experience in securing significant funding.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to express complex information and fundraising concepts.
  • The ability to work well to targets and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and in writing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload.
  • Self motivated with the ability to work well alone and part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software packages and the ability to use customer relationship databases.
