The new Volunteering Manager will support the Director of Learning and Volunteering in the recruitment, support and development of volunteers within the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. The Volunteering Manager will take a lead on volunteer relationship management, training, project management and shaping systems, policies and procedures which facilitate group activity. The Institute’s aim is to partner with volunteers, enabling them to join them in achieving the organisational objectives. You will ensure all volunteers are inducted and stewarded through their time as volunteers as well as being responsible for recognition for volunteers. You will be a line manager to the Volunteer Network Assistant and work closely with the Senior Events Manager to ensure that volunteer conferences and events are delivered to a high standard.
You will have experience of working with or managing volunteers, preferably within a charity or membership organisation as well experience of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. It is vital that the new Volunteering Manager understands that overseeing volunteers can be different to managing staff, as well as being aware of the importance of volunteers. We are looking for a driven individual who is able to create solutions using their own initiative as well as being full of ideas and creating a plan to bring them to life. You will have proven relationship management as well as experience in dealing with tougher relationships and handling difficult conversations. About the Role
Working within the Digital Applications and Analytics Department, the postholder will work with the Intercollegiate Surgeons eLogbook, undertaking data analysis and reporting tasks.
There may be requirement for the role holder to work outside of normal working hours and travel for work occasionally.
Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills
This is a superb opportunity for an individual who is confident, methodical, organised and conscientious.
Holding a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics) you will be able to demonstrate strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
You will have the ability to work in a cross functional team delivering the eLogbook service and have an excellent understanding or relational and other data structures. You will collaborate with external intercollegiate bodies to further the knowledge and insights around surgical training in the UK.
You will have excellent communication and team working skills.

We are seeking a passionate Mentor Coordinator to join our team and lead our new childminder mentoring scheme, part of our exciting new Workforce Programme, Shaping Scotland’s Childminding Future (SSCF), aimed at retaining and growing the numbers of childminders across Scotland.
The successful applicant will play a key role in developing and delivering the scheme, connecting experienced childminders with those seeking guidance and support. You will coordinate and support a team of mentors, matching them with mentees, ensuring effective support to childminders throughout Scotland.
The postholder is required to be skilled in project management/programme implementation. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, good communication and excellent organisational skills are required.
Initial funding is to March 2025, taking us to the end of year one - this is part of a 3-year proposal with funding confirmation received on an annual basis.
The post is home/office based, requiring travel and attendance at meetings across the central belt and occasionally wider (including regular attendance at Head Office in Stirling).
Equipment and broadband/IT connections will be provided.

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, this role responsible for providing management accounting and business partnering services to the College, including the preparation of the committee reports, monthly management accounts and ad-hoc reporting to support business needs.
Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills

Specific knowledge of the charity sector would be an advantage.

RCGP Scottish Patient Forum
The Royal College of General Practitioners Scotland is recruiting new members to the RCGP Scottish Patient Forum.
As a member of our Patient Forum, you will help to ensure that the patient voice is woven through the work of RCGP Scotland.
From feeding into policy consultation responses, to assisting with the development of campaigns and College communications; members of the RCGP Scottish Patient Forum will play a key role in helping to shape the work of the College in Scotland.
The Patient Forum operates as a virtual advisory group via Microsoft Teams. There will be up to 3 virtual meetings per year plus an online forum to communicate and to progress work outside of meetings. Members of the Patient Forum will be provided with advanced notice of these meetings.
This is a voluntary role for a term of up to three years.
