Role

Home-Start Renfrewshire & Inverclyde have an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Group Worker to join their growing service in Renfrewshire.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde promotes the welfare of families with at least one young child under 5, helping to build strong families and prevent family breakdown. The successful candidate will be based in Paisley. You will have similar experience in a work-related capacity together with excellent IT and communication skills.

Main responsibilities:

  • To develop and deliver a weekly Wellbeing Peer Support Group for Parents
  • To co-deliver the weekly Dads Group and develop a wellbeing focus to the group
  • To help parents achieve; healthier emotional wellbeing, reduce isolation and become more active within their local community.
  • To maintain high standards of practice in supporting parents and their families within the ethos of Home Start
  • To ensure inclusion and diversity in all aspects of the group’s operation and work
  • To be responsible for case note recording and maintaining records to ensure information is available for monitoring purposes and general enquiries.
