Role

The National Trust for Scotland is looking for members to join its Board.

Our Trustees are ultimately responsible for the strategic governance of the Trust’s activities and the achievement of our charitable purpose to promote the conservation, access, and enjoyment of Scotland’s places of historic interest or natural beauty. We need people like you to help us deliver the Trust’s new vision: nature beauty and heritage for everyone. We are looking for Trustees to lead the delivery of that vision as we build and recover from the recent challenges, undertake new projects, and approach our centenary birthday.

All candidates must be able to demonstrate a passion for the cause of the Trust along with high level leadership experience. In addition, this year applicants with skills or experience in three particular areas are being sought:

• Broad commercial legal experience

• Collections management and conservation

• Commercial management of land, buildings and estates

We encourage applications from the whole breadth of our ethnically and culturally diverse membership and from people at all stages in their careers.

Application notes

If you share that commitment, and are interested in this opportunity, please do get in touch with Nicola Blyth, Deputy Secretary – 0131 458 0293, elections@nts.org.uk or visit nts.org.uk/elections.

Applications close at noon on 20th April.
