Role

This post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the work of The Welcoming Association and provide support for New Scots and refugees in Edinburgh. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the Welcoming Health and Well-being programme which is funded by the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board Grant Programme until March 2023.

Reporting directly to the Director or a senior member of staff the part-time Health and Wellbeing Coordinator will be working closely with the Welcoming a Greener Future and Befriending Programme Managers to organise and deliver walking, jogging, cycling, swimming and other health-related physical activities to isolated New Scots in Edinburgh.

Please note that you must already be eligible to work in the UK to be employed by The Welcoming Association. The successful candidate must either hold a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) certificate for adults, or must be willing to obtain this within three months after commencement of employment.

Reporting to: The Welcoming Director or a senior member of staff.
