Who we are

Keep Scotland Beautiful is your charity for Scotland’s environment.

Our vision is for a clean, green, sustainable Scotland. We work with you to help combat climate change, reduce litter and waste, and protect and enhance the places we care for. We aim to change behaviour to improve our environment, the quality of people’s lives, their wellbeing, and the places that they care for.

We support the ambitions of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

What the role is

My Beach, Your Beach is a behaviour change campaign to help improve bathing water quality at Scottish beaches. It aims to change littering, dog fouling and gull feeding behaviours that may negatively affect bathing water quality. #LuckyToLiveHere #MyBeachYourBeach

As our Campaigns Officer you will lead and facilitate the implementation and delivery of the My Beach, Your Beach Campaign, funded by the Scottish Government to support bathing water quality improvements at seven beaches around Scotland. This will include campaign development, the design and implementation of interventions, managing relationships with key stakeholders, campaign promotion and undertaking monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

You will have experience of coordinating and supporting campaign supporters/volunteers along with the ability to create and maintain positive working partnerships. In addition, we are looking for you to have demonstrable experience of maintaining and developing website content and press/media/PR activity to support campaign delivery.
