Development Officer (Funding and Fundraising)

The post will be one of a team of development officer posts across the organisation but with a regional remit specifically around supporting the management of funding distributed to the Third Sector by HTSI, as well as a source of support for the Sector in Highland around funding and fundraising.

Intermittently, HTSI act as a conduit for funding to the sector in Highland and to ensure that this is done fairly and efficiently, fully taking the opportunity to demonstrate the value and impact of the sector as a delivery mechanism, we are now looking to develop a dedicated role.

The post will be responsible for working with stakeholders, designing, managing and co-ordinating the implementation of funding processes. They will also have primary responsibility for drafting reports and providing assurance to the CO, HTSI Board and funding partners.

The post holder will be responsible for leading advice and guidance to the sector around fundraising ensuring that they are informed of the regulatory and legal information necessary. They will also support the development of training and reference material for a stronger Third Sector across the Highlands, including delivery of training, workshops and policy development relevant to the speciality areas connected with this post.
