Role

Can you harness the power of communications to support children and families? Are you a confident, dynamic and fast-moving media and marketing professional with strong experience of selling in stories to print and broadcast media? Do you also have experience across brand, digital and internal communications? Can you get to the heart of a story and produce compelling editorial, visual and video content which will inspire our audiences to join with us and the families we work to transform support so every child in Scotland can grow up safe and loved within their family and community.

As part of Children 1st’s team you’ll develop and deliver integrated media and marketing plans to amplify our work and influence change. You’ll support the charity’s response to the urgent and emerging needs of children families by transforming children’s services, revolutionising systems of support and changing local and national government policy. You’ll make full use of your creative flair, talent for storytelling and powers of connection with children, families, the media, partners and supporters, so that we can reach every child and family in Scotland in need of our support.

Further Information

This is a full time, permanent post of 35 hours per week. The successful candidate can be based Scotland wide.
