The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation solely for GPs in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1952, it has over 53,000 members who are committed to improving patient care, developing their own skills and promoting general practice as a discipline.
We are currently looking to recruit a Devolved Nations Support Coordinator who will liaise with Colleagues from across the UK. Based in Edinburgh, this is a pivotal support role to the work of RCGP in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the finance administration function, coordination of records management, health and safety, property and website updates for the Devolved Nation teams, as well as providing reception cover for RCGP Scotland. You will also play a leading role in ensuring that College brand and style guidelines across the Devolved Nations are adhered to and in the coordination and dissemination of information and communications between the Devolved Nations and other parts of the College.
Educated to HND or equivalent you will have experience of providing high level and complex administrative support with very high standards of attention to detail in all written material. Demonstrating a flexible and friendly attitude, you will be able to work under your own initiative, have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively to meet conflicting deadlines.
