Health in Mind
With your mental health at heart
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Midlothian Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team. This post is funded by Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
Health in Mind’s Midlothian team are looking to recruit an Art Psychotherapist. We require an experienced Art Psychotherapist with relevant professional qualifications and experience of working with adults with mental health difficulties, the ability to work independently and as part of the wider Midlothian staff team. The post holder will contribute to the provision of community mental health and wellbeing services, delivering art psychotherapy to address a wide range of issues that affect people. Where appropriate you will work to link people to other services and specialist support.
The successful applicant will maintain positive and effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, key partners, and relevant professionals. All staff are working in a blended way with access to an office base for essential work, risk assessed community work, and homeworking. Travel is required across Midlothian. Flexibility in working hours will on occasion be required to meet the needs of the people we support.
