Are you passionate about making a difference for some of Scotland’s most at risk children and young people? Do you have experience of providing relationship support to families?
Cyrenians Keeping Families Together is an exciting on-going project with the specific purpose of supporting young people (12+) in secure accommodation across Scotland who are at greatest risk of spiralling further into the criminal justice system. We work with young people at the point of admission and also those who are in the process of returning home. We provide intergenerational support for whole families to build positive supportive relationships.
Building on our award-winning model of mediation and support, we offer 1-to-1 support from skilled mediators, practical support for each family member, and conflict resolution workshops. The project helps build relationships, promotes better communication, and reduces the potential for future conflict.
We are looking for motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and experience of supporting children young people and/or families. You should be committed to children’s rights and have the ability to demonstrate our values of compassion, respect, integrity, and innovation in the work that you do.
2 positions are available: Full time (37 hours/week) and Part time (14 hours/week).
Closing Date: 5pm on Thursday 9th December
