The post of New Service Development Manager has been created to help Changeworks achieve its ambitious 2022 – 2025 Strategic Plan. This exciting time in our development sees a new focus on design thinking and user-led service design and on the extension of our service portfolio to enable the decarbonisation of homes and deliver low carbon living for everyone in Scotland.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual with the drive and experience to ensure Changeworks designs, creates and delivers outstanding services. Leading by example, you will be responsible for the establishment of new energy advice and behavioural change services and act as a role model for design-thinking across the organization. These new service/s will complement our existing portfolio and will be a critical component in supporting householders minimize the carbon emissions from heating their homes.
Reporting to the Fuel Poverty and Low Carbon Operations Director, you will have a proven track record in the practical application of design thinking, having created successful user-centric services. You will have strong attention to detail as well as the ability to see the big picture and be able to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role includes business development and demand creation and it is important that you have experience of both.

At Changeworks we remain working at home, where possible, in line with Scottish Government advice. This post would have typically been office based however we are currently designing our new ways of working. Over the coming months we will be looking to offer increased flexibility about where we work, in a hybrid of home and office base depending on the needs of each role.
