Due to securing additional funding we have seen an increase in staff numbers in our Women’s Support Team over this last 12 months, as such we are recruiting for the new position of Team Leader for the Women’s Support Team. The WSS Team Leader will have overall responsibility for ensuring survivors in the Women’s Support Service receive the highest quality of support. ensuring we deliver the best, most effective and survivor centred service possible.
The Team Leader will support the Centre Manager and the Deputy Manager post by leading the Women’s Support Team (staff, students and volunteers) ensuring that they are well supported to do their work.
The Team Leader is expected to work closely with the Manger and Deputy Manager and may be asked to deputise for the Deputy Manger when necessary
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the violence against women sector and have at least 2 years’ experience of leading a team of counselling/therapeutic support staff and have experience of working in direct support services.
