Glasgow North West Carers Centre provides a range of services to unpaid Carers who look after a family member or friend who is unable to manage on their own. This includes Young Carers and their families. Our Carer Support Team works directly with the Carer to help identify community supports and services to enable them to manage their caring role and to maintain their own life, health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a Carer Support Worker to join our existing team. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate commitment to working with Carers to achieve set goals, to continue professional learning and development, be a good listener, strong communicator with excellent organisational and analytical skills. You should have a firm understanding and appreciation of unpaid Carers, their role, contribution and value to the community.

Come and be part of a small, busy and supportive Team. We work closely with colleagues throughout Quarriers, the Glasgow Carers Partnership and the wider North West Glasgow community, which offers many opportunities for training, networking and professional development.

This role is permanent, full time working 37 hours per week.

The successful candidate must have a full current drivers licence and access to own transport.
