As the charitable subsidiary of West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA), Willowacre Trusts overarching aim is to tackle social and economic disadvantage and impact on tenancy sustainment within the communities served by WSHA.
We play a fundamental role in the delivery of non-core landlord activities such as specialist support, community development and services as well as the management of our community facilities.

About the Role
Funded by the Glasgow Communities Fund, you will manage and run the Barrowfield Community Centre, MUGA and play area, ensuring its smooth operation and that our community facility forms a vibrant, well managed hub for the benefit of local people, anchor tenants, those booking community spaces and other centre users. .
The centre is open during the day 7 days per week and is able to accommodate evening bookings 3 nights during the week until 8pm. With the support of the wider Community and Support Services Team, you will manage a small team of Community Centre Assistants, ensuring the sustainability of the Community Centre by maximise income through bookings and effective usage of its facilities. Some weekend/evening work on a rota basis is required.
• Have excellent experience of operational management within a similar busy community setting
• Have strong customer services skills and staff management experience
• Be able to build rapport with all hub users and create a safe and welcoming facilities
• Be methodical and flexible approach to organising and prioritising a varied workload
