Three Sixty is an independent mental health charity based in Ayr supporting people across South Ayrshire who are affected by mental illness. We work to promote mental wellbeing, reduce social isolation, raise awareness of and challenge the stigma and barriers associated with mental illness.

To achieve this we provide information, advice and activity based support for people aged 16+, including their families and carers. We engage with communities through our outreach service to develop services that reflect what people need and want.

This is an exciting time to join Three Sixty as we begin work on our ambitious 4 year strategy to develop our service, increase our profile, impact and reach so people feel connected and develop the tools they need to support their mental wellbeing.

We are looking to recruit Outreach Workers on a 1 year fixed term basis to support the development of our outreach service.

With a qualification in social care, community, health or similar discipline, the Outreach Worker will work in a flexible and agile way within communities providing individualised support. This will include developing personal plans with people who access our service to work towards their goals and aspirations. Partnership working with a range of stakeholders and working collaboratively are essential aspects of this role.

Central to the role will be the set up and delivery of community based group sessions that support mental wellbeing. Setting and providing 1:1 support will also be part of the role. You will be responsible for recruiting participants and sustaining their engagement.

Community engagement is a key element of this role as is monitoring and recording.

Travel throughout South Ayrshire and further will be required.
