Role

Glasgow Women’s Aid provides information, support and temporary accommodation for women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse. We have refuge accommodation, follow on services and outreach services both for women and children across Glasgow. Due to Covid-19 and the rise of domestic abuse, we have a range of vacancies across our services. All of our posts are on a fixed term contract and full and part time vacancies are available.

As an Outreach Worker you will be in the community engaging children and young people in our service and providing therapeutic 1-1 support and therapeutic focused group work to young people. You will also work closely with partner organisations, promoting the service and raising awareness. You will either work predominantly in schools providing support to children who have experienced domestic abuse at home, or you will be part of our Enough! Project focused on supporting 13-19 year olds who are experiencing domestic abuse in their own relationship.
