Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface on Behalf of Clackmannanshire Credit Union

This exciting new position, funded by Clackmannanshire Credit Union with funds awarded from the Scottish Ethical Lenders Fund. The role will be for the post holder will be employed by Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface on behalf of Clackmannanshire Credit Union, to support, enhance and secure the current work of Clackmannanshire Credit Union.

Main purpose of the job

The aim of the role is to support, enhance and secure the current work of Clackmannanshire Credit Union (CCU) to identify new business and community members. Working closely with other third sector organisations and local employers, the role will aim to build relationships and the reputation of the Credit Union; build stronger relationships with current and new members and enhance and increase the income of CCU through affordable loans.

MAIN DUTIES

• Increase Credit Union membership offering financial management support through regular savings and affordable loans

• Develop business and marketing plans

• Identify and pursue other goals to develop and safeguard the future of the Credit Union

• Increase engagement with new and current members

• Liaise with local businesses to promote payroll deduction scheme

Location: Under current guidance the post holder will be home based until office working is permitted. The post will be based in the offices of Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSI) in Alloa - however, the post holder will be required to work throughout Clackmannanshire

This role will involve geographically working across Clackmannanshire on a regular basis – access to personal transport would be beneficial.
