Do you want to make a difference?

We currently have 2 full time CBT Practitioner vacancies. 1 post will be required to work across Forth Valley within the community and the other across our 3 Forth Valley Prison establishments.

As a CBT Practitioner for Change Grow Live Forth Valley, you will work with people who need our support, helping them achieve their goals. The posts will sit across the psychological therapies team and include regular supervision by a clinical psychologist. You will also work in partnership with the NHS and Scottish Prison Service.

To provide assessment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions within a coordinated package of care for drug and alcohol users.

The post holder will work within COSCA or BACP Ethical Framework and Code of Practice.

To engage people who have substance use problems and provide them with advice, support and recovery focused structured interventions to support their recovery and primary health care needs.

Being flexible, curious and a good listener are key, to help ensure we treat everyone who accesses our service as an individual.

Recording information is an important part of what you will do, so enjoying paperwork and having a good attention to detail are important. Most of the time, however you will get to enjoy working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to theirs and their families lives.

Here are quotes from some of our current staff:

I like the team spirit, that we all bring something different, and we always put the people who use our service first”.

Seeing people move in their treatment journey and seeing a zest in life coming back in their lives is so rewarding”.

And a quote from a service user: “Me and my key worker get on really well and this benefits me, coming to Change Grow Live gives me stability”.

Our values are to be compassionate, open, and bold. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
