We are looking to add to our team of experienced Advocacy Workers who deliver independent advocacy to adult carers in the Highlands of Scotland. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who enjoys working within a team but is also just as comfortable working on their own. The job is a busy one, and you’d be working to support carers to have their thoughts, feeling and wishes known in support of their caring role. You’d be joining an organisation whose values and principles underpin everything we do. Whilst we’d be keen to hear from you if you have independent advocacy experience, a full induction and training programme is in place to support the right applicant.
You will need a clean driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle. We are currently working from home, but there will be a requirement to travel when restrictions are eased. PVG Scheme membership will be a requirement of the post – this will be arranged by us on appointment.
