The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity. We are dedicated to creating a better future for fostered children and young people. We bring together everyone who is involved in their lives, leading, inspiring, motivating and supporting them to make foster care better. Together with our members and supporters we are a powerful catalyst for change, and we’ve been shaping and influencing the fostering agenda for more than 40 years.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced senior manager to build on the exciting work that we do to promote and support fostering in Scotland.

Additionally the post holder will be responsible for our Practice activity across the charity primarily advice, information, consultancy and independent support services.

If you are a strategic thinker, have excellent people-management skills, a commitment to improving the lives of children and young people in foster care, matched by an in-depth understanding of the issues facing fostering, we would like to hear from you.

You will be innovative, professional and cooperative in the way in which you work, have a knowledge of children’s social care and the experience and energy to fulfil this demanding role. You will be part of The Senior Leadership Team and help the charity achieve its vital work.
