Fundraising Manager

Role

This is an exciting time to join an established national charity who, for over 55 years, have provided a lifetime commitment of support and information to all those in Scotland affected by the rare, complex disabilities of spina bifida, hydrocephalus and related conditions.

We are now growing our small fundraising team and are seeking an energetic, articulate and proactive individual to manage all aspects of our existing portfolio of corporate and social events (Ladies lunch, Golf Day and Burns Supper). This exciting post will also involve supporting a wide range of community and corporate fundraising activity, identifying and applying for charity of the year opportunities and working closely with the Communications Manager on multi-platform communication strategies.

Previous fundraising experience in the voluntary sector preferred although not essential. This role may suit someone who can transfer their skills to this role. Whatever your previous experience you must be able to demonstrate that they have excellent communication skills and can achieve targets within agreed timescales. Computer literacy and a current driving licence are also essential.
