We’re looking for a new People and Culture Manager to join our dynamic and creative workforce here at Dundee Volunteer and Voluntary Action (DVVA).
- Working in the Third Sector is not about making profit but rather, making a difference to society. Third Sector organisations are categorised into: Charities and Community Groups and Social Enterprises. DVVA and DSEN are known as the Third Sector Interface for Dundee, working together to provide all third sector entities, with the support they need to be financial sustainable, advising on what is required for them to achieve good governance for their business.
- DVVA also provides many community focused projects and also ensures good effective volunteering opportunities for people across the city.
- With 50+ staff, DVVA is committed to ensuring that they are well supported, their talent is recognised and developed further with high quality effective opportunities to grow and develop in their roles.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will both develop and deliver DVVA’s People and Culture Strategy in line with DVVA’s strategy, organisational values.

We are currently recruiting for a Development Lead to join our team and provide capacity support for the Third Sector Chief Officer's Group (TSCOG) to deliver upon their main strategic objectives.
Third Sector Chief Officers Group
The Third Sector Chief Officers Group (TSCOG) was formed in 2016 when a number of CEO’s of Third Sector organisations in South Lanarkshire came together under the auspices of VASLan to support each other during a period of significant strategic and financial challenge and change.The group met fortnightly to play a significant role in providing peer support and sharing information to ensure joined up services during the COVID pandemic.
The TSCOG are now ready to move onto the next stage of their development, with this role providing additional capacity to deliver upon their strategic objectives.
Job Purpose:
This role is a shared resource for the TSCOG, hosted within VASLan with the workplan directed by a TSCOG Steering Group.
Priorities:
• Strategic Engagement
o Improve engagement between TSCOG members, locality and thematic networks, and the wider third sector
• Being Collaborative
o Develop consortia documentation and process which can be applied to opportunities where appropriate, and share with the wider sector
• Income & Strategic Commissioning
o Support collaboration to attract external or local funding to localities and mechanisms for distribution and governance.
In summary its enhancing the funding support offer to the sector with TSCOG orgs showing some leadership to leverage more resources into SL.
