We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to support young people in Dundee to gain qualifications and move into employment. The successful candidate will have the experience in supporting young people in groups and through one to ones.
Key responsibilities in the role include:
• To engage with young people in school and community groups to enable their progression to Helm programmes and other relevant education and employment providers.
• Ensure set targets and outcomes are met in accordance with funding objectives.
• Assess young people’s strengths, needs and support required in order to produce an individual support plan, which is agreed and understood by the young person. Support them to progress in line with their individual plan, including accessing programmes at Helm.
• Plan and organise a range of individual or group activities (in-house/outside) to best support the needs of the young person.
• Ensure and support a positive environment of youth participation throughout the organisation.
