We are seeking to engage an Independent Sector Lead (Care Home) to support the Integration of Health and Social Care in North Highland. Hosted by Scottish Care and working closely with care providers and partners, the post involves ensuring sector involvement in the delivery of the integrating of health and social care in Scotland’s HSCPs. Positively representing whole of the independent sector, giving them a voice that contributes to quality outcomes for people who live in care homes and contributing to developing a sustainable model of residential care.

The post holder must be highly motivated, be able to use initiative, possess excellent communication and networking skills, demonstrate success and experience working at strategic level with policy makers, providers, regulators, people supported by services and carers. Qualifications and experience at a senior management level would be a significant advantage.

The post holder will be expected to create and support significant collaborations across the independent care sector while contributing to the development of new care pathways which will result in the delivery of improved outcomes for people who access care and support. The post holder will ensure the Independent Sector’s contribution is fundamental to integrated services and transformational change and be able to evidence their impact. The role requires considerable and skilful collaboration with our key partners in the NHS, Local Authority, Carers, third sector organisations and other forums.

North Highland is a progressive partnership and invests heavily in this post and the Independent Sector.

The successful candidate will be required to spend a significant amount of time in the North Highland area.

The post is home based with travel, where necessary, and is hosted by Scottish Care.

Scottish Care are seeking to engage a Project Officer to support our Independent Sector Lead (ISL) to support the Integration of Health and Social Care agenda in Aberdeen City HSCP.

This post will be hosted by Scottish Care and, working closely with care providers and partners, will involve supporting and reporting to the ISL ensuring established projects are progressed within an agreed time frame, ensuring sector involvement in the delivery of the integrating of health and social care agenda.

The role includes:

• Reporting on allocated project's progress, budget, and resources
• Delivery of engaging and effective facilitation, training, events, and workforce support tools for the sector across both digital and physical platforms
• Supporting the ISL with the delivery of events to launch and showcase projects as well as events that form part of the learning experience for providers of care and support services in Aberdeen City
• Overseeing projects and helping to mitigate issues and challenges
• Scheduling tasks and managing resources
• Quality assurance
• Organising meetings and setting agendas
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Updating and maintaining project records and documentation
• Supporting the ISL to produce reports and presentations as required
• Distributing project documentation

You will ensure the voice of providers and service users is heard. You will support care providers by ensuring they are informed, engaged, and included.

Effective communication and sharing of best practice is at the heart of what we do and critical to partnership working, as such you will support participation and leadership from the Independent Sector.

Where appropriate, the role will include outlining, presenting, and sharing with PFI, Scottish Care and Nationally. To promote and share evidence-based practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the established and dynamic Partners for Integration team within Scottish Care.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about improving care for older adults within a collaborative and innovative environment.

The post will be home-based on a fixed term contract until March 2025 and hosted through Scottish Care but will require a significant presence within the Aberdeen City Area. Developing key relationships is at the core of any work we take forward.

The successful candidate will be required to spend a significant amount of time in Aberdeen City.

Jewish Care Scotland are growing their Income Generation function in line with our organisational strategy. We are looking for a Fundraising and Communications Officer to join our team.

The role will work closely with the Deputy Chief Executive to raise the organisation’s profile, increase reach and to raise unrestricted funds through various income streams.

The role will create opportunities to engage the community, delivering bespoke events and recruiting supporters to get involved in our events, mass participation events and through individual giving.

The post holder will also be responsible for creating engaging content for our social media platforms, external publications and internal publications including a regular supporter newsletter.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in a fundraising or communications role (preferably in the third sector) and knowledge of all income streams.
