Birthlink is in partnership with Scottish Government and others to support people to identify and source historical records and to compile those ready for Redress support. This is an opportunity to be part of a new team delivering support to adults who were victims of abuse in a care setting in Scotland as children.
This post is initially funded to March 2023 but will most likely be continued. We are looking for a part time manager (3 days) and this post can be combined with practitioner hours of 1 or 2 days.
Practice Lead (Redress)
Part Time 22.5 hours (3 days)
Salary Scale: Pro-Rata £35,988 to £38,717
Redress Support Worker
Part time 15 hours
Salary scale, pro rata £30,125 - £32,428
Birthlink is a small Edinburgh based charity. This is a partnership Scottish Government and others as a direct result of the Scottish Abuse Inquiry.
We are looking for staff preferably with knowledge and expertise in working with adults who have had these experiences.
