The team

  • An exciting opportunity to become part of Energy Saving Trust’s customer experience team. With the customer at the heart of everything we do, we are dedicated to understanding and continuously improving all things customer experience. Leaning on the expertise of project experts and teams, we consult and support on any potential customer touchpoint improvements helping advice teams to succeed
  • We collaborate closely with our internal advice teams and Home Energy Scotland (HES) subcontractors to support them to provide a world class service and meet or exceed contracted standards.

We achieve this through:

  • Continuous evaluation and customer feedback analysis.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement areas.
  • Influential coaching and feedback support.
  • Ensuring quality advisor resources and training are in place to aid continuous success.
  • Exploring and implementing digital engagement channels to enhance customer experience options.

The role

  • Our Home Energy Scotland advisor induction programme is certified by the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and provides successful advisors with a credit rated qualification. We are looking for someone who can:
  • Collaboratively and continuously maintain, develop and improve the quality of this course and keep it up to date in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support our inhouse team with delivery of this training.
  • Complete candidate assessments, with supportive feedback.
  • Lead the organisation and fulfilment of our annual audits with the Scottish Qualification Authority always ensuring successful outcomes and compliance with SQA requirements.
  • Collaboratively maintain, develop and improve the quality of induction courses for various other Energy Saving Trust advice services and explore/propose similar qualification or certification opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and own all aspects of the Home Energy Scotland induction programme ensuring all candidates and teams are supported throughout their journey and that assessment cycles and processes are compliant and meet the programme requirements.
  • Provide support both virtually and, on occasions where there is a business benefit, in person, at Home Energy Scotland advice centres to develop and improve SQA induction material, training, and candidate performance.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure content is accurate, useful and up to date in time for each required use.
  • Work closely with Home Energy Scotland advice centre teams to support candidates to meet their qualifications within the agreed timescale.
  • Assess all candidates who complete the induction programme and provide certification for successful passes.
  • Provide coaching and feedback within the assessment cycle.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to engage and influence wider audiences.
  • A passion for people development to succeed in delivering customer excellence
  • A track record of developing people and processes through trend analysis, coaching style feedback, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Experience in the design, delivery, and development of training materials.

This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

This will need to be a full-time role

We are open to flexible working locations (within the UK) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
