#TeamTrainingAcademy have an exciting opportunity for two friendly and self-motivated individuals to join them on a part-time, permanent basis. One role will be providing training support for all Branches in the East cluster which will include Dundee, Angus, Perth and Kinross, Fife, West Lothian and parts of North Lanarkshire. The other role will cover the central belt and will include Glasgow, North Ayrshire, West Dunbartonshire and Borders.
For this role as travel will be involved it is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
The Role
Cornerstone is one of the largest third sector providers of Health and Social Care in Scotland. Your role will include creating training course content along with updating and delivering the necessary content to a high standard. Through your creativity and passion for developing others you will facilitate a range of relevant workshops for learners. This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the Social Care sector to provide professional assessment and support to candidates in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential.
As a Trainer, you will support the Training Academy team to ensure E-learning and Classroom courses fit with a blended approach to training delivery and support the facilitation of employability programmes such as the Princes Trust. Along with updating and delivering the necessary content to a high standard, you will create meaningful training course content.
You’ll work collaboratively across branches, services and functions to promote best practice and be comfortable challenging inappropriate practice which goes against Cornerstone's policies and values.
About you
The successful candidate will be a competent, self-motivated and experienced care giver who is keen to learn how to design training packs, deliver face-to-face classes and provide support to others. Working to a set of key performance indicators, you will be responsible for prioritising your own workload and planning your week to enable you to support your branches.
Although we are interested in your healthcare experience, your values and your attitude are very important to us, it is desired but not essential you have the following qualifications:
- Social Services and Healthcare SCQF 7 or equivalent
- Social Services and Healthcare Children and Young people
- Social Services and Healthcare SCQF 7 or equivalent
- Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

We are looking for a fun, creative, enthusiastic team player who is highly motivated to plan and organise exciting sporting opportunities for veterans with sight loss. You will have experience of facilitating groups with the ability to build rapport quickly and be an effective networker.
You will have a passion or interest in specific sports or physical activity with a desire to motivate individuals to get more active. You will be willing to travel to engage with veterans and other organisations to increase access to sporting opportunities across Scotland.
You will work to increase access to sporting opportunities within veterans own local communities, building upon the comradeship that the veteran’s community often enjoy. The role will be key in identifying sporting opportunities and developing partnerships that veterans with sight loss can engage with, ensuring accessibility and supporting participation in these. Another key part of the role is building positive and sustainable partnerships that benefits veterans and their families within their local areas. The job also involves recognising and supporting the organisation with other events/activities that may encourage social and peer support opportunities.

Deafblind Scotland is the specialist charity working with adults living with dual sensory loss. Our ambitions are high for members and we are therefore at the forefront of finding ways to support people to lead their most meaningful life.
Deafblindness can be a devastating condition that can make daily life extremely challenging and as a result, many people with dual sensory loss become isolated. Our services can make a vital difference to their lives; enabling people to regain confidence, gain vital communication skills and re-establish social connections. Some people may acquire the loss of both senses where others may be born Deaf or with sight loss and lose the other sense as they move through adult life caused by conditions such as Ushers Syndrome or age related conditions such as Glaucoma.
We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to work across several programme areas, supporting the Programme Leads to create and implement innovative approaches to improving the lives of people living with Deafblindness. This role involves working alongside deafblind people to facilitate their engagement, promoting a culture of empowerment and peer leadership. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will liaise with a range of stakeholders, delivering evidence-based monitoring and evaluation reports and co-producing and facilitating training events.

Glasgow Association for Mental Health is one of the principal providers of community mental health services in Greater Glasgow. GAMH is committed to the principles of recovery and raising awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
TheYoung Adult Wellbeing Service (YAWS) is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The service supports the mental wellbeing of young people aged 16-25 experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
