The Communications Officer creates and produces digital content to be used on our website and across our social media platforms.

We are looking for proactive, empathetic and flexible Wellbeing Practitioners to join our Adult Services Team.
The Donaldson Trust is Scotland’s leading charity for neurodiversity. This role will be based primarily in Treehouse, is a specialised service for neurodivergent individuals who require bespoke packages of wellbeing and learning support.
You will use person-centred approach to ensure the needs of adults in our services are met, supporting them to engage with agreed outcomes, building confidence and resilience, and enhancing their wellbeing and opportunities for independence. You will work collaboratively to create a safe and nurturing environment and ensure the highest quality of support and safeguarding standards.
Experience of working with individuals with additional support needs, good understanding of safeguarding and commitment to Donaldsons’ values and ethos are essential. You will be a creative problem-solver, able to respond flexibly to changing circumstances while providing structured and consistent support that needs individual support needs. A relevant qualification, such as SVQ 2 in social care, would be advantageous.

In this new role, we are looking for someone who has worked in large-scale food production i.e. school kitchens, commercial catering, commercial food production, hospital canteens and has a passion for creating simple but good quality food. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative and able to work as part of a team or independently. Ideally, they will have an interest in how we create and deliver solutions to one of today’s rising issues: food poverty. As our Chef/Cook you will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking good food from scratch in our Strathbrock Training Café. You will share your knowledge, experience and skills with young people and adults with additional support needs to help them on their journey to reaching their full potential and finding work.
You will have proven skills in the production of good food from scratch along with a solid operational knowledge of all HACCP regulations and processes.Combined with this you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with trainees in a friendly and professional manner.
As a member of The Larder Team, you will be reliable,enthusiastic and capable of positive interaction with all stakeholders and colleagues and remain consistent with our company ethos and focus. You will have excellent communication skills, and able to engage with our trainees in an understanding and professional manner.
Experience of cooking in a professional catering environment is essential as is the ability to train young people.
The post is very rewarding and you will be part of a wider team that includes training and support staff based in various locations.
Glasgow ESOL Forum is a charity based in Glasgow that supports asylum seekers, refugees, and New Scots to learn English. We deliver SQA accredited classes as well as less formal community-based learning opportunities.
