We are looking for a Deputy Area Welfare Manager (DAWM) to provide support to the Area Welfare Manager (AWM) and to deputise in their absence.

The Deputy Area Welfare Manager will carry a delegated welfare caseload of complex cases and undertake specific administrative duties within the Area Welfare Department. To assist the AWM in supporting Area welfare volunteers, caseworkers and branches in their welfare work. Develop good working relationships with other charities and statutory services in the welfare sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background with good attention to detail and methodical, organised working practices and written skills. They will also have good knowledge of welfare service and systems, good working knowledge of using I.T, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel and the Internet.

An Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check is required for this post . A driving licence and access to own vehicle is required.
