Around since 1923, SAMH is Scotland’s national mental health charity. Today, SAMH operates 60 services in communities across Scotland providing mental health social care support, homelessness, addictions and employment services among others. These services, together with our national programme work in See Me, respectme, suicide prevention and active living; inform our policy and campaign work to influence positive social change.
SAMH provide community based and outreach services which are recovery focused in Moray.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our service in Moray for a Team Leader role. This post would be a valuable development opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic supported accommodation service which supports vulnerable adults who have had significant experience of homelessness issues, chaotic lifestyle and substance misuse problems. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of the issues and challenges faced by people who have experienced past trauma and barriers to their ability to engage effectively with services. The post will involve travel across various locations so a full driving licence and access to your own transport is required.
Applications are welcome from people who have experienced mental health difficulties. A PVG check is required for this posts, along with a Right to Work in the UK check. Candidates will also be required to provide proof of qualifications declared on the application form.
