Role

The Rock Trust aims to prevent youth homelessness and to support young people to build better futures. We are the host of A Way Home: Scotland, a national coalition of agencies working to end youth homelessness, funded by the Scottish Government. We are looking for someone to lead this coalition.

The successful candidate will lead and facilitate the national coalition to end youth homelessness in Scotland. We need a dynamic and creative individual to work with national and local cross sector groups to enable them to create and deliver local systems and services which will prevent youth homelessness. We seek an individual who enjoys a challenge, is able to build relationships and has strong interpersonal skills. This post involves travelling across Scotland, organising and facilitating meetings and presenting progress updates to conferences and networks.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a policy and influencing role, preferably with knowledge or experience of the homelessness sector within Scotland. If you’re a self-starter, able to network and work autonomously, please get in touch.

For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Kate Polson on 0131 557 4059.
