SOEC is a charity and social enterprise with 3 outdoor Centres in Scotland offering a broad range of educational programmes with educational, health and wellbeing and other outcomes.
We are seeking a resident Manager for our 131 bed outdoor education centre in West Linton.
Duties involve all aspects of the day to day running of the Centre. The Manager is responsible for general customer care and liaison and for ensuring that all staff contribute effectively to the Centre’s operation. It is not solely a supervisory appointment and Managers must be competent to lead the staff team in the work required to keep Broomlee running smoothly. Work is varied and will require an organised person able to prioritise both their own workload and that of the Centre team. The Manager works closely with the Chief Executive and other SOEC Managers.

Duties give some indication of the variety of skills required. Qualification at a degree or equivalent level in an educational, child welfare or environmental field plus proven management experience would be essential as is a clean driving licence.
Successful applicants will be required to be registered with the PVG scheme.
