Volunteering Matters are looking for an experienced and dynamic Volunteer Manager to join our Delivery Team in Scotland. We are looking for someone who can work flexibility and demonstrate an understanding and commitment to our organisational values.
The role will involve all aspects of Volunteer Management for various programmes and projects but with a particular focus on the day-to-day coordination of the North Lanarkshire Befriending Project. You will recruit, train, match and support volunteers as well as working alongside vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people, families, social work teams, schools and others.
You will assist to develop the programme and report on the projects activities and work. You will also assist Volunteering Matters colleagues with the development of other national programmes such as Full Time Volunteering, Employee Volunteering, Grandmentors and Sporting Chance.
The post holder will be accountable to the Regional Manager for Scotland.
The role is subject to membership of the PVG Scheme. Having spent convictions or cautions is not necessarily a bar to employment.
