We are looking for delivery focused individual with a ‘can-do’ approach to join our busy HR team. As a strong team player you will have excellent interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships at all levels, experience of working within a busy people-focused Recruitment or HR environment, strong written, e-mail and verbal communication skills and high level attention to detail.

As a Recruitment Administrator you will manage the end to end recruitment process for all CHAS vacancies, some of the main tasks include:

· Managing vacancies

· advert preparation and posting

· Shortlisting and interviewing candidates

· carrying out reference and pre-employment checks

· Preparing conditional offer letters and contractual documents

· Providing management information and people data

· Regular e-mail and telephone communication

· Managing the Careers inbox

· Handling general queries related to the HR function

Providing effective administration support will also require that you have excellent typing skills and experience of Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel as well as internal Recruitment/HR systems.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, better known as CHAS, is Scotland’s national children’s hospice service which cares for children with life shortening conditions and their families. We operate across the country through our two hospices, our CHAS at Home service in the community as well as in hospitals. Travel between sites will be required on occasion and a willingness to travel is essential.
