Role

Scottish Refugee Council is looking for an experienced service manager to lead a team of advisers to work with and support refugees and their families exiting the asylum system and building their lives in Scotland.

You will be responsible for line managing a team of Integration advisers. You will also work with key partners ensure effective referral systems to improve integration outcomes for newly granted refugees.

The post holder will contribute to the successful delivery of our New Scots Integration: Rights and Communities Programme funded through the Asylum, Integration and Migration Fund AMIF. You will be accountable for the performance of the individual advice support strand of the programme.

We will be looking for proven experience of day-to-day staff and service management, including contribution to service development. Creative and innovative in approach, you have what it takes to lead change and improve performance. You have a willingness to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes when appropriate. Commercially aware, with a collaborative way of working, you have excellent communication and influencing skills, respect for others’ opinions and a real drive for results.

This post will be subject to a Discolour checks and you will be working towards OISC registration.
