We are the leading provider of sustainable development education initiatives in schools, encouraging action and behaviour change by young people which will leave an enduring legacy for Scotland; it is part of our work to help make Scotland clean, green and more sustainable.

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Management Team to lead the development, implementation and management of our Education and Learning activities, with particular emphasis on our flagshipEco-Schools Scotland programme,professional learning initiatives,food and environment educationandYoung Reporters Scotland.

Our new Education & Learning Manager will manage and develop relationships with local, regional, national and international stakeholders in order to promote the ambitions of our organisation and the work we undertake. In addition, they will lead, manage and develop a highly competent and dynamic team of people.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with schools and local authority education services along with a detailed understanding of education policy and practice. They will also have an understanding of current national and international policy on sustainable development education and climate change. Experience of managing education initiatives from design to implementation, a flair for developing networks and positive working relationships and financial & budget management are essential elements of this role.
