Role

Everyone has the right to live life to the full. After a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition or a stroke, many people experience fear and isolation and struggle with the impact on their lives. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland won’t stand for that. The care and support we deliver every day ensures everyone can live the life they want to.

The work of the Stroke Education Facilitator is to plan and deliver appropriate and evidence based training in stroke for health and social care staff, internal staff and service users. The service is provided in partnership with NHS Fife and aims to ensure all individuals caring for people affected by stroke have the suitable knowledge, skills and confidence to fulfill their role and enhance the quality of services.

We are seeking an individual who is organised, motivated, with good communication skills and who has experience in teaching/training or mentoring. Candidates must have a first level general nursing/AHP qualification and evidence of continued professional development.

Access to a car is essential.
