Role

BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working with The Salvation Army in their search for a Senior Trust Fundraiser.

The Salvation Army exists to serve suffering humanity.

As an international movement with a strong identity its mission is to meet human need without discrimination. Its incredible work includes helping those who are homeless, suffering domestic abuse and modern slavery. It also seeks to influence social policy.

The Trusts fundraising team is now looking for a key member, based in Scotland, to contribute to the success of their trusts and foundations work in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

If you have experience in research, cultivation and stewardship, either as a Trust or major donor fundraiser, the passion to make a real difference to the most vulnerable and an entrepreneurial spirit then this could be a great career move for you.

You will have a strong track record of writing a case for support and securing 5 or 6 figure grants. You will need to be experienced at doing deep prospect research to ensure no opportunities are missed. You will play a significant role in helping the Fundraising Team reach the shared goal of £2.5million per annum. In return, you will share your learning about opportunities in Northern Ireland and Scotland with the wider team and get a chance to represent the Salvation Army at external meetings and events.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and develop your skills for an internationally recognised charity.

Application notes

This search is being conducted exclusively on behalf of The Salvation Army by BTA. If you have third sector experience, thrive on working independently within a supportive team in a key and varied role contact recruitment@brucetaitassociates.com today for further information.
