Role

For over 135 years St Andrew’s First Aid has been training people to save lives, equipping the people of Scotland with appropriate first aid skills. Our vision is to help prepare every community to deliver first aid with confidence so that no life is lost or suffering endured due to lack of these essential skills. To deliver this we need to have sufficient funds in place and the strategies to make the organisation more sustainable.

As the official first aid organisation for some of Scotland’s most exciting events, our volunteers are consistently delivering the highest standards of first aid cover and training across Scotland.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Fundraiser to help us develop and implement our strategic plans for income generation from Trusts and Foundations, as well as Corporates.

Your excellent interpersonal, communication skills and creative flair will help create compelling and high quality funding proposals, ensuring donors and potential donors connect with St Andrew’s First Aid and understand the impact of their support. The post holder will manage each grant application from submission to decision stage and be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the projects, ensuring the funder is kept up to date on progress.

Working with both internal and external stakeholders, you will need to be able to work on your own initiative and collaboratively to achieve our aims.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic Disclosure.
