Are you committed to improving young people’s lives?
Dean and Cauvin Trust is one of Edinburgh’s oldest charities, established in 1733 to provide care for children. Our aim these days is to provide a continuum of care to young people aged 15 to 21, and in some cases their babies, as they make the transition from being accommodated in residential units to living independently in the community. Currently there are four services; two residential units, one offering accommodation for young people aged 15 to 17 years, the other catering for young mothers and their babies, an aftercare team supporting young people in the community and a newly established fostering service.
We are looking for an individual with a relevant social work qualification (or equivalent) and considerable experience who is strongly committed to improving the life chances of looked after children and young people. Candidates for this position will have a good knowledge of young people’s services, outstanding leadership and strategy skills and the ability to motivate staff teams.
