At the Co-operative College, we truly believe that great things happen when people co-operate. As an educational charity we are empowering and inspiring individuals and communities to build a fairer world. This is a unique opportunity to join our Business Support Team and be involved in our North West projects that will make a real difference to people’s lives.
This exciting and challenging new role is to actively co-ordinate, organise and support the regional delivery of our projects, primarily by leading “co-operative enterprise” training and identifying ongoing opportunities for young people and those from disenfranchised groups including those with learning difficulties and disabilities (LDD) or autism with the support of an LDD specialist (the Partner Support Officer). Full and ongoing training will be provided.
You will have experience developing content and/or delivering enterprise projects or a related subject, or able to demonstrate a good practical understanding of enterprise. You will have experience of working with young people and/or people with LDD or autism (this is essential). You will also have experience of teaching, training, presenting and/or public speaking.
Most importantly you will be dedicated, self-motivated, flexible and compassionate.
The Co-operative College is committed to reducing inequality, valuing diversity and enabling inclusion. We welcome applications from people with the appropriate skills from all parts of the community.
