Advance HE is delighted to announce an exciting vacancy for an Equality Charters Programme Adviser in Scotland, within the Membership and Accreditation Directorate. The successful applicant will primarily support the delivery of the Athena SWAN Charter, which focusses on gender equality in higher education and research, by providing advice and guidance to institutions in Scotland.

We are looking for candidates with a collaborative and supporting personal style, a commitment to quality assurance and a high level of integrity. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an institution and a willingness to provide constructive challenge. Candidates must be committed to the aims of the Athena SWAN Charter. Whilst the candidate will work regularly from the Edinburgh office, home-based candidates are encouraged to apply. Some travel to London and York will also be necessary.
